Ricardo Doehner is Appointed CEO for Campofrío Food Group

The company Sigma Alimentos, S.A. de C.V. (Sigma) dedicated to the elaboration of refrigerated foods, announced today that Ricardo Doehner Cobián was appointed CEO for its subsidiary company Campofrío Food Group (Campofrío), taking the place of Fernando Valdés, who has decided to leave his executive responsibilities and will continue collaborating as an advisor for Sigma in Europe. Regarding this change, Mario Páez, CEO of Sigma group stated: “We are very thankful with Fernando for his valuable contribution during the time he has worked for Campofrío, which boosted the company to become a top player in the meat industry in Europe and to strengthen its main asset, the human team. We are placing our trust in Ricardo, certain that he will succeed in his new responsibilities” he added.

Ricardo Doehner started working for ALFA in 1996 and for Sigma, its food subsidiary, in 2003. He has more than 20 years of experience in finance, planning, business development, sales, and other areas. Since 2014, he has been part of the Executive Committee of Campofrío, in which he has been responsible for the integration up until his new appointment. He graduated from ITESM (Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey) with a degree in Mechanical Engineering Management.
